Olivier Alexandre is a sociologist, a doctor from the EHESS and a former visiting scholar at Northwestern University and Stanford. He is a researcher at CNRS/Centre Internet et Société. He works on cinema, cultural sociology and social science theories. He recently published La Règle de l’exception (Éditions de l’EHESS, 2015) and La Sainte famille des Cahiers du cinéma (Vrin, 2018).
