Dan Edelstein

Dan Edelstein is Assistant Professor of French at Stanford University. He has recently published The Terror of Natural Right (University of Chicago Press, 2009), and edited The Super-Enlightenment: Daring to Know Too Much (Voltaire Foundation, 2010). In autumn 2010 he will publish a book on the French genealogy of the Enlightenment (The Enlightenment: A Genealogy, University of Chicago Press).
