Hélène Périvier is an economist at the National Foundation of Political Science (FNSP) in Paris. Her research is concerned with the analysis of socio-economic inequalities between women and men, as well as with policies attacking poverty, particularly provisions for social minima. She is the co-author with Dominique Méda of Le deuxième âge de l’émancipation: La société, les femmes et l’emploi (The Second Age of Emancipation: Society, Women and Employment), published in 2007; and she co-edited with Françoise Milewski issue no. 90 of the Revue de l’OFCE, “Travail des femmes et inégalités” (“Womens’ Work and Inequalities”), published in 2004.
